How it works right now

FitnessForge runs on two surfaces. You, the coach, run everything from the web dashboard. Your clients log and follow along from their phone.

The dedicated client app is on its way to the App Store. Until it arrives, your clients use the same client experience through their phone's browser and save it to their home screen so it opens like an app. When the app launches, the only thing that changes is that your client downloads it instead of adding the site to their home screen. Everything else stays the same.

Part 1

Set up your coach account

Create your coach account on the FitnessForge site with your name, email, and a password.

Choose your subscription plan: Free, Starter, Pro, or Growth. Pick the one that fits your client load and the features you need. You can upgrade anytime, and upgrades take effect immediately.

Complete your coach profile so your clients get a polished, branded experience.

Part 2

Invite your client

From your dashboard, open your client management area.

Choose to invite a new client and enter their email address.

Send the invitation. Your client receives an email with a link to join your roster.

Part 3

Your client's setup

Your client opens the invitation email and taps the join link.

They create their client account with their own information.

They accept the invitation, which connects them to you as their coach.

They add the site to their home screen so it opens like an app.

Adding to the home screen

iPhone

Use Safari, not Chrome

  1. Open the site in Safari
  2. Tap the Share button
  3. Tap Add to Home Screen
  4. Tap Add
Android

Use Chrome

  1. Open the site in Chrome
  2. Tap the three-dot menu
  3. Tap Add to Home screen or Install app
  4. Confirm
Share with your client

"Welcome aboard. Getting set up takes two minutes. 1. Open the invite email I just sent and tap the join link. 2. Create your account and accept the invite. 3. Add it to your home screen so it opens like an app. On iPhone, open the link in Safari, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, open it in Chrome, tap the menu, then Add to Home screen. That is it."

Part 4

What you can do together

  • Nutrition and macro tracking Clients log food with an AI photo scan, a barcode scanner, or manual entry, and build a library of favorite meals.
  • Macro goals Set each client's targets with quick-select presets, generate them from a weekly weight target, or set them manually.
  • Progress monitoring Track your clients' progress over time from your dashboard.
  • Roster management Keep all of your clients organized with the right visibility for you and any coaches on your team.

What changes when the iOS app launches

Only Part 3 changes, and it gets simpler. Instead of adding the site to their home screen, your client downloads the FitnessForge app from the App Store and signs in with the account they created. Parts 1, 2, and 4 stay exactly the same, so anything you set up now carries straight over.

Quick troubleshooting

Client didn't get the invite email

Have them check spam and confirm you entered their email correctly before resending.

Add to Home Screen isn't showing on iPhone

Make sure they opened the link in Safari. The option does not appear in Chrome on iOS.

Client signed up but isn't on your roster

Confirm they accepted the invitation from the email link, not just created an account.
